Geocache Description:

This is a easy walk with two approaches. The first is approximately 1½ miles and passes the Culbin Sands Nature Reserve. Park in car park at the east end of caravan site in Nairn and head along a well defined path, or along the beach if preferred. (Watch for high tides as this can restrict access to the cache site if approached along the beach) The second approach is approximately ½ mile, for the less energetic, starting from Lochloy road and involves climbing over a gate at the start.

The cache is hidden in a depression at the foot of a tree which is on the edge of the forest, covered with grass/moss under a small log. The cache is a standard 2ltr container, clear plastic with a white lid containing a log book, pencil, eraser, sharpener, pocket torch with batteries, bottle opener, bouncy ball and a paper clip.
