And where else would this cache be but at the Arctic Circle itself?
The only tough thing about this cache is getting the time to drive there. IF you find the time to conquer the Dempster Highway and the Arctic Circle, you will experience one of the truly last wild places on this planet. Summer and Autumn are the best time of year, I can't guarantee accessibility once the snow falls. The foliage colors are spectacular from August on. The parking location itself is obviously marked by the Yukon Territory highway department, use the hint below to defeat the permafrost. And watch for bears, even though this cache is only about 500 feet off of the road. And if you've made it this far, be sure to check out the virtual cache up ahead in Inuvik.....
Guarded by Sally the snake, the contents are:
Log Book
can o' SPAM
Danby comics from England
Accufilter for water
Tape measure
Scary creatures
Notecards
Hand lotion
Geocahing compass keychain
Saturn blimp
Prestamped postcards to let me know you have conquered this one!
We will not be able to maintain this cache, so please contribute generously and hide it thoughtfully. TZ
