Texas GeoCampers Clean up San Jose Island

​We are a group of geocachers who hold monthly events touring the great State Parks of Texas! Our group will camp in a different Texas State Park every month. We will be meeting at the Scat Cat in order to board a jetty boat for transportation onto San Jose Island. This is an uninhabited island and is really awesome to visit. Unfortunatly, it has a serious issue with litter. The round trip price for a ticket on the jetty boat is $15.00 for an adult and $8 for a child 12 and under.  We will meet at the dock at 11:45 AM. Our group will board the boat and depart at 12:00PM. We will travel over to the island and pick up some of the overwhelming amount of trash that has washed up on the shore. At 2:00 PM our jetty boat will return to take us back to the main land.
