Geocache Description:

The ruins of the Árpád-aged church in the bourg of Szentbalázs.

Ruins of the church in the village Szentbalázs, from the age of
Prince Arpád, 13th century.
The original church was closed with a sanctuary, arched inside and
straight outside; it had a crypt as well. In the next centuries it was
extended with a sacristy chapel and a west nave with a choir loft.
It was ruined in the middle of the 16th century, and was renovated
in the year of the Millenium.
The easiest approach is from the Zánka-Nagyvázsony road. You should turn onto a dirtroad near Szentantalfa (N 46 55.079 E 17 40.729). It's about 2km from there.
The environment and the view in charming and intimate as well.
The password is the fruit of the tree which is located by the main entrance of the church.
Attention! In winter it may be hard to find out the password if you're not good at botany.
