Na margem oposta á entrada do acesso da barragem vale do gaio, zona rochosa de inclinação acentuada.

A barragem de Vale do Gaio ou barragem Trigo de Morais localiza-se no concelho de Alcácer do Sal, distrito de Setúbal, Portugal. Situa-se no rio Xarrama. A barragem foi projectada em 1936 e entrou em funcionamento em 1949.
