This flash cache and dash event will be held at the VDOT park and ride lot at the intersection of Prince William Parkway and I-66. If you are heading west on a Saturday morning to do a little caching, this might be a good opportunity to get you started. Despite the title of the event, there are no plans at this time to escape the immediate gravitational effects of the Earth. While no persons from NASA (motto: "Actually, it IS rocket science.") have been explicitly invited, they would be welcomed with open arms.
Schedule:
Prior to 7:30 - Your call. The event will not have started yet.
7:30 - Begin congregating. Note, you will need to make eye contact at some point.
7:30 - 7:45 - Congregate, sign log. Chat amongst yourselves. If there are any muggles present, please chat with them also.
7:45 - 7:59 - Trade travel bugs. Trade cache stories. Note, for this event you will be totally allowed to make up stories.
8:00 - Recite the cache mob motto ("Nunc id vides. Nunc ne vides.") as a group and be on your way with everyone's best wishes.
It is rumored that some of the participants in this event are planning to travel southward and seek out Moonshine Mountain (GC16B2) down in Madison County. Going there is completely outside of this event and is not required to claim this event. By the same token, you are more than welcome to come along.
