O samym mieście i jego historii moższsz poczytać w wielu publikacjach, ale pomnik tytułowego konia znalazłem tylko jeden.
Pomnik powstał w 1946 roku, a jego autorem jest Wojciech Durek. Postawiono go po tym, jak pierwszy pomik Naczelnika zaginą w czasie wojny. Nawiasem mówiąc potem się odnalazł i teraz są dwa.
Co prawda pomnik jest o osobie która dosiada tytułowe zwierze - Tadeuszu Kościuszce (jego wojska skapitulowały w pobliskich Radoszycach), ale nazwa zobowiązuje ....
UWAGA:
Obecnie trwa "rewitalizacja" okolicy pomika więc uważajcie na maszyny i trwające prace.
