RHINOSAUR “Virtual Reward 2.0” Virtual Cache

At first glance you will at first notice a whole bunch of completely unrecognizable huge metal shapes sticking out of the ground....but when you walk around it, and get to a particular spot they all align to form a unexpected sculpture.

When you reach the viewing platform look through the viewfinder, which offers the sense of peering through the crosshairs of a rifle.  Suddenly the installation one had been walking around becomes a one-dimensional image,  an image that reminds us that the three-dimensional rhino as we know it could be lost to poaching, and that all we will have left is a one-dimensional image.

The point of the installation is something close to all our hearts, and that is one of conservation and to raise awareness of the threat to Africa's Rhino population.

To log this cache you need to do three things.

1> State how many more kills in 2015 vs 2005

2> What is the City of Cape Town's art program known as?

2> Post a picture of you or family member/s, trying to prevent another kill shot.  (be creative)
