Dechen Ösel Ling (Solbo Retreatcenter)
Detta är den första stupan i Skandinavien och finns på Solbo buddhistiska kurs- och retreatgård norr om Fellingsbro.
Stupan är ett exotiskt smycke i det gamla bygdelandskapet, den är byggd i traditionell tibetansk stil, 11 meter hög.
Stupans funktion är bl.a. att vara inspirationskälla och mötesplats för människor från alla kulturer därför kallas den också Fredsmonument.
Stupans officiella namn är Du Khor Djangchub Chöten Töndröl Chenmo – “Kalachakras och Upplysningens Stupa vilkens åsyn befriar”.
I kursgårdens huvudbyggnad finns ett större tempelrum. Det finns även ett altartempel för den buddhistiska mästaren Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) på området.
Café erbjuder informationsmaterial och förfriskningar till alla besökare.
Stuporna är ett vanligt inslag i den buddhistiska kulturen och har en konstnärligt fulländad form som symboliserar Buddhas rena sinne, som är föreningen av allomfattande kärlek och visdom. Den påminner oss om att vi människor kan förena ett gott hjärta med intelligensen inom oss själva.

Dechen Ösel Ling (Solbo Retreatcenter)
This is the first stupa in Scandinavia and is located at Solbo Buddhist course and retreat yard north of Fellingsbro.
The stupa is an exotic jewel in the old rural landscape, it is built in traditional Tibetan style, 11 meters high.
The function of the stupa is i.a. to be a source of inspiration and a meeting place for people from all cultures, therefore it is also called the Peace Monument.
The official name of the stupa is Du Khor Djangchub Chöten Töndröl Chenmo - "Kalachakras and the Stupa of the Enlightenment whose sight liberates".
In the course building's main building there is a larger temple room. There is also an altar temple for the Buddhist master Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) in the area.
Café offers information materials and refreshments to all visitors.
The stupas are a common feature of Buddhist culture and have an artistically perfected form that symbolizes the pure mind of the Buddha, which is the union of all-encompassing love and wisdom. It reminds us that we humans can unite a good heart with the intelligence within ourselves.
