[EN]The Small Square (romanian: Piata Mica, german: Kleiner Ring) from Sibiu keeps, with small modifications, the appearance of the 15th-16th century, all buildings being historical monuments. On the right of the first town hall is the Tower of the Council. Other important buildings are: the Parish House and the Catholic Church, the Hermes House - the Franz Binder Museum, the Luxembourg House (Red House), the House of Arts (Butcher's), the Fresca Hall, the Goldsmith Tower, the House with the Museum of Pharmacy. The characteristic feature of the Small Square houses is the loggia on the ground floor, with semicircular arches and on the roofs you can see some oddly shaped windows called "Sibiu's eyes". Interesting are the narrow passages connecting this place with the Large Square and the Huet Square, respectively the stairs below the Goldsmith Tower to the Lower Town. Of course, do not forget the Bridge of Lies - the first (1859) cast iron bridge in our area.

[RO]Piaţa Mică (în germană: Kleiner Ring) din Sibiu păstrează, cu mici modificări, aspectul din secolul XV-XVI, toate clădirile fiind monumente istorice. În dreapta primei primării a oraşului se înalţă Turnul Sfatului. Alte clădiri mai importante de aici: Casa Parohială şi Biserica Catolică, Casa Hermes - Muzeul Franz Binder, Casa Luxemburg (Roşie), Casa Artelor (Măcelarilor), Casa cu Sala Frescă, Turnul Scării Aurarilor, Casa cu Muzeul de Istorie a Farmaciei. Caracteristica caselor din Piaţa Mică este loggia de la parter, cu arcade semicirculare susţinute de portanţi, iar pe acoperişuri puteţi vedea nişte lucarne numite "Ochii Sibiului". Sunt interesante pasajele înguste care leagă piata de Piaţa Mare şi Piaţa Huet, respectiv scările de sub Turnul Aurarilor spre Oraşul de Jos. Desigur nu trebuie uitat Podul Minciunilor - primul pod de fontă de la noi, turnat în 1859.
Pentru a loga cache-ul postează o fotografie cu tine, GPS-ul sau degetul mare in sus 👍 în faţa unei clădirii preferate din Piaţa Mică!
