Geocache Description:

Welcome to NSW Beach 295 or Iron Ladder Beach.

Located on the west side of Box Head along the irregular steep rocky coast to the entrance to Brisbane Water. It faces the south-southwest into Broken Bay entrance. The beach is at best a 50 m long sliver of sand, backed by steep rocks and covered by most high tides. Waves are low, with calm conditions and no surf except during high seas. A generally isolated and calm beach.

A beach name I've often heard but not known much about so with calm seas and Dudley Duck the travel bug on the yak we headed out from Waggy of course, although there are other possible locations and I suspect a rough walking track from the National park may exist.

Curious as to why the beach is named Iron ladder and if an intact ladder is really there was part of checking out this location. Certainly a wonderful view was found..

**Logging Requirements**

1. At the listed Co-ords describe the man made feature(s) and describe how you think it relates to the beach's name or not.

2. At approximately 295 feet in a northerly type direction lies The Plank. Your task is to scramble up and Walk The Plank. You must provide a photo of you Walking The Plank with an identifiable Geocaching item such as a GPSr, Travel Bug etc. If you don't want to do a selfie then your Geocaching Name needs to be clearly seen on a piece of paper or similar in the Photo in order to claim a smiley.

3. Tell me the co-ordinates of The Plank
