Auf den Stufen der 1511 vollendeten Freitreppe der Stadtkirche St. Michael finden seit 1925 die Freilichtspiele Schwäbisch Hall statt. Die Große Treppe vor St. Michael ist mit 53 Stufen, einer Höhe von acht Metern und einer Breite von bis zu 48 Metern wohl eine der außergewöhnlichsten Bühnen der Welt.
Die Freilichtspiele in Schwäbisch Hall sind die zweitältesten Freilichtspiele Deutschlands, mitten auf dem Marktplatz der historischen Altstadt. Zunächst wurde nur das Mysterienspiel Jedermann von Hugo von Hofmannsthal aufgeführt. Bis 1968 wurden überwiegend klassische Komödien gespielt. Nach und nach wurden auch vermehrt zeitgenössische Stücke, Musicals und auch Kindertheater ins Programm aufgenommen.
Zum 75-jährigen Jubiläum im Jahr 2000 ließ die Stadt einen hölzernen Rundbau im Stil des berühmten Londoner Shakespeares Globe Theater errichten. Im Frühjahr 2019 wird der Nachfolger der Haller Globe Theater, das Neue Globe anstelle des alten eröffnet.

Nun zu den Aufgaben:
Besonderheit für Rollstuhlfahrer und Krückengeher: Ich möchte dass auch Rollstuhlfahrer und Krückengeher sich an diesem Virtual erfreuen können. Für Rollstuhlfahrer und Krückengeher stelle ich nur 1 Aufgabe: Mache ein Bild von dir oder deinem GPS-Gerät in Verbindung mit deinem Gefährt / deiner Gehhilfe vor der Treppe oder auf dem Marktplatz und hänge es an deinen Log.
Für alle anderen gelten aber diese Aufgaben:
1) Finde diese Tafel und rechne: Jahr 2 - Jahr 1 = Antwort
Maile die "Antwort" an freitreppe@kocherreiter-geocaching.de:
(Die Tafel findest du "rund um" St. Michael)
2) Mache ein Bild von dir, deinem GPS-Gerät oder etwas anderem persönlichen auf oder vor der Treppe (das Webcam-Cache-Bild lasse ich nicht gelten) und hänge es an deinen Log. Wird auf der Treppe gerade ein Theaterstück aufgeführt, mache ein Bild von dem Geschehen auf der Treppe - so nah wie du an die Treppe heran kommst.
Du musst nicht auf eine Logfreigabe warten. Natürlich gilt - auch um den besonderen Charakter der Virtual Caches zu bewahren - dass ausschließlich Logs die alle Bedingungen erfüllen akzeptiert werden. Logs ohne Bild und ohne Antwort werden kommentarlos gelöscht!

On the steps of the 1511 completed staircase of the city church of St. Michael, the open-air games Schwäbisch Hall have been held since 1925. With 53 steps, a height of 8 meters and a width of up to 48 meters, the Great Staircase in front of St. Michael is probably one of the most extraordinary stages in the world.
The open-air plays in Schwäbisch Hall are the second oldest open air games in Germany, in the middle of the market place of the historical old town. At first only the mystery play Jedermann by Hugo von Hofmannsthal was performed. Until 1968, mostly classical comedies were played. Gradually, more and more contemporary pieces, musicals and children's theater were included to the program.
For its 75th anniversary in 2000, the city built a wooden rotunda in the style of London's famous Shakespeare's Globe Theater. In the spring of 2019, the replacement to the Haller Globe Theater, the New Globe will be opened in place of the old.

2) Take a picture of you, your GPS device or something personal in front of the staircase (I don’t accept the webcam-picture of the webcam-geocache) and post it to your Log. If there is a performance on the staircase, take a picture of what happens on the stairs – as near as you can go.
You don’t have to wait for my approval to log. In order to keep up the special character of Virtual Caches, I only accept logs that fulfill all logging requirements. Logs without a picture and an answering-mail sent to me will be deleted without comment!
