Bienvenidos a la plaza de Nuestra Señora del Pilar también conocida por el nombre de plaza de las Catedrales.
Por si no lo sabíais, os contaré tres curiosidades de la plaza que estáis visitando:
1. El nombre de plaza de las Catedrales le viene porque aquí se encuentran las dos catedrales de Zaragoza: la Seo y el Pilar. Zaragoza fue la primera ciudad del mundo en tener dos catedrales: la Seo fue catedral desde principios del siglo XII y la Basílica del Pilar desde 1676.
2. Estáis pisando la plaza peatonal más grande de la Unión Europea (la segunda más grande si consideramos todo el continente europeo, justo por detrás de la plaza Roja de Moscú).
3. Según el blog de viajes «El Viajero» del diario El País, la Basílica que tenéis enfrente es el monumento más visitado de España con alrededor de ¡5.000.000 de visitantes anuales!
Dicho lo cual, no veo mejor lugar en toda Zaragoza en el que emplazar este caché virtual, que además me sirve para celebrar con todos vosotros mis recientes 5.000 "found it".
La plaza de las Catedrales de Zaragoza es un lugar de indudable belleza que cuenta con estilos arquitectónicos variados. Aquí podéis retrotaeros en el tiempo a la época romana visitando los restos de las murallas romanas, el Museo del Foro de Cesaraugusta o el Museo del Puerto Fluvial. Podéis deleitaros con el estilo mudéjar presente en el Torreón de la Zuda y, sobre todo, en la Seo. Podéis contemplar un emblemático edificio renacentista como La Lonja o admirar el templo barroco que es la Basílica del Pilar, por no olvidarse del románico presente en algunos de los edificios precedentemente citados.
Precisamente una de vuestras misiones para poder registrar como encontrado este caché virtual, será la de inmortalizar en tres fotografías distintas cada uno de los tres estilos arquitectónicos siguientes que se encuentran en esta plaza (las fotografías deben ser tomadas en la plaza o dentro de las construcciones citadas): románico, mudéjar y renacentista. Los únicos requisitos para dar por válidas las fotografías serán que estén llenas de originalidad y sobre todo, que en ellas aparezca vuestro nombre de geocaching sin postproducción de las fotografías. El nombre lo podéis llevar tatuado en la piel, en una camiseta, escrito en un trozo de papel, o en alguna parte de vuestro cuerpo... ¡Imaginación al poder! Lo importante es que vuestro nombre sea visible y que no se haya insertado en la fotografía con algún editor fotográfico.
El segundo requisito para dar por correcto el "found it" será entrar en la Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar (antes de ello podéis tratar de adivinar de qué color llevará el manto hoy la Virgen del Pilar) y localizar dos de las tres bombas arrojadas contra el S.T.M. DEL PILAR, el día 3 de agosto de 1936, que se encuentran actualmente expuestas en una de las paredes dentro del templo. Una vez en ese lugar, sin moveros del sitio, deberéis localizar el nombre de cinco países del mundo con los cuales completar el crucigrama de la cabecera del listing y obtener la palabra clave (en las celdas amarillas) que os permetirá certificar vuestro hallazgo en el siguiente Certitude
¡IMPORTANTE! Cualquier registro que no incluya las tres fotografías conforme a las especificaciones dadas o en el que el nombre del geocacher que haya realizado el "found it" no esté presente en el Certitude, podrá ser borrado sin previo aviso.

Welcome to the "Nuestra Señora del Pilar" square also known by the name of "Plaza de las Catedrales".
In case you did not know, I will tell you three curiosities of the square you are visiting:
1. The name of "Plaza de las Catedrales" is given to this square because here are placed the two cathedrals of Zaragoza: La Seo and El Pilar. Zaragoza was the first city in the world to have two cathedrals: the Seo was a cathedral since the early twelfth century and the "Basilica del Pilar" since 1676.
2. You are on the largest pedestrian square in the European Union (the second largest if we consider the entire European continent, just behind the Red Square in Moscow).
3. According to the travel blog «El Viajero» of the Spanish newspaper "El País", the "Basilica del Pilar" in front of you is the most visited monument in Spain with around 5,000,000 annual visitors!
So I do not see a better place in Zaragoza where to place this virtual cache, which also serves to celebrate with you all my recent 5,000 "found it".
The "Plaza de las Catedrales" of Zaragoza is a place of undoubted beauty that has varied architectural styles. Here you can go back in time to Roman times by visiting the ruins of the Roman walls, the Museum of the Forum of Cesaraugusta or the Museum of the River Port. You can enjoy the Mudejar style present in the "Torreón de la Zuda" and, above all, in the Seo. You can contemplate an emblematic Renaissance building like "La Lonja" or admire the baroque temple that is the "Basilica del Pilar", not to forget the Romanesque present in some of the buildings mentioned above.
The first of the two requirements to log this virtual cache as "found it", will be to take three different photographs in the square or within the mentioned buildings. Each photograph must show one of the three following architectural styles: Romanesque, Mudejar and renaissance. Your geocaching name must appear in the photographs without post production. Be original! You can wear your geocaching name tattooed on the skin, printed on a shirt, written on a piece of paper or somewhere on your body ... Imagination to power! The important thing is that your name must be visible and that it must not be inserted in the photo with a photo editor.
The second requirement to consider valid your "found it" will be to go inside of the "Basilica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar" (before that you can try to guess what color will be the Virgen del Pilar's mantle today). You must find two of the three bombs dropped against the S.T.M. DEL PILAR, on August 3, 1936. They are currently exposed on one of the walls inside the temple. Once in that place, without moving from the site, you must find the name of five countries in the world. You must complete the crossword in the listing header with these five country names in order to obtain a keyword (in the yellow cells). That keyword will allow you to certify your finding in the next Certitude. Your geocaching name must appear in the list of certified solvers in order to consider valid your "found it".
WARNING: Any record that does not include the three photographs according to the given specifications or in which the name of the geocacher who has made the "found it" is not present in the Certitude, may be deleted without prior notice.
