No local onde estás de momento, o Auditório de José Afonso dos arquitectos Manuel Salgado e Marino Frei, foi inaugurado em Novembro de 2005, dentro do programa Polis de Setúbal, na requalificação da área, construindo um edifício com um grande arco cénico que alberga um auditório ao ar livre com capacidade para 2500 espectadores e as infra-estruturas de apoio necessárias para a realização de espectáculos
Quase uma década após a sua inauguração, nos finais de Março de 2014, o lado poente ganhou um mural de 20 metros de altura que se tornou num novo ponto de ex-líbris da cidade de Setúbal, homenageando não só um dos seus filhos da terra como também as formas de arte que estão sempre presentes em Setúbal.
O mural "Rapaz dos Pássaros" do artista Odeith foi inspirado na fotografia de Américo Augusto Ribeiro (1906-1992), "Retrato de rapaz vendedor de pássaros" (AR7565).
Américo Augusto Ribeiro retratou a sua cidade e os setubalenses durante 65 anos. Por toda a cidade encontra-se alguns murais com as fotografias das zonas de como era a cidade. Caso queiram saber mais, poderão visitar o seu arquivo, por cima da Casa do Bocage.
Odeith é um reconhecido artista português que se destacou internacionalmente pelo seu pioneiro trabalho tridimensional.
O "rapaz" setubalense retratado na fotografia original que serviu de inspiração ao mural é Vicente Inácio Martins nascido em 1922 e esteve presente na sua inauguração aos seus 91 anos. "Quem merca os pássaros?" Dizia ele quando era mais novo.
Este mural surgiu com o projecto `Arte em Toda a Parte´, uma série de eventos artísticos que envolvem a população e artistas locais e nacionais do `street art´.
Desde então que Setúbal tem florescido com novos murais, novas esculturas, novas ideias artísticas, culturais e desportivas um pouco por toda a cidade, e se me permitem afirmo até que as musas das artes decidiram dar uma volta por Setúbal e permaneceram por cá durante uma boa temporada.

2. Tirar uma fotografia de outra obra de arte que encontrarem por Setúbal. Acredita que existem muitas espalhadas por toda a cidade e algumas vão lhe surpreender.
