Císařsko-královská Severní dráha císaře Ferdinanda (KFNB) byla rakouská železniční a těžební společnost založená v roce 1836. Vytyčila si za úkol do 10 let propojit Vídeň s bohatými solnými doly ve Slezsku. Na dobu úplného úsvitu dějin železniční dopravy šlo o cíl více než ambiciozní - stala se první dálkovou parostrojní železnou drahou v celé kontinentální Evropě. Hlavní trať i s odbočkami byla budována postupně, jak dovolovaly finance.
Poté co se rozjely pravidelné vlaky do Břeclavi a Brna (1839), přistoupila KFNB k rozšíření sítě budováním tratě mezi Břeclaví a Olomoucí. Ta byla uváděna do provozu postupně jakmile byly dokončovány jednotlivé úseky v průběhu roku 1841, slavnostní inaugurační vlak otevřel celý dokončený úsek dne 17. října 1841.
V roce 1848 přes hulínské nádraží utíkali z Kroměříže před císařskými vojáky poslanci říšského sněmu, mezi nimi i František Palacký. A vy si na ně můžete tak trochu zahrát ...
Pro úspěšné zalogování "Found it" na této virtualní keši musíte ke svému logu doložit dvojici obrázků splňující tyto náležitosti:
(1) oba snímky budou zachycovat: vás (nebo GPS apod.), libovolný vlak, název železniční stanice
(2) první obrázek bude pořízen na nádraží v Hulíně
(3) druhá fotografie v libovolné z dalších stanic tehdy nově otevřeného úseku Severní dráhy císaře Ferdinanda
Dobová literatura¹ nám uvádí, že tehdy byly v provozu stanice s názvy: Lundenburg, Neudorf, Göding, Bisenz, Hradisch, Napajedl, Hullein, Prerau, Brodek, Olmütz. Fantazii se při plnění úkolu meze nekladou, nicméně jako obvykle platí, že logy nesplňující výše uvedené podmínky mohou být kdykoliv bez milosti smazány.
The Emperor Ferdinand's Northern Railway (KFNB) was an Austrian railway and mining company founded in 1836. It set itself the task of connecting Vienna with the rich salt mines in Silesia within 10 years. During the dawn of rail transport history, this was an ambitious goal - it became the first long-distance steam railway in the whole continental Europe. The main line with the branches was built gradually, as the finances allowed.
After regular trains to Břeclav and Brno (1839) started to operate, KFNB proceeded to expand the network by building a line between Břeclav and Olomouc. It was put into operation gradually as the individual sections were completed during 1841, and the inaugural train opened the entire section on October 17th, 1841.
In 1848 members of parliament, including František Palacký, were fleeing from the emperor's soldiers from Kromeriz through the Hulín railway station. And you can try it as well now ...
To successfully reach "Found it" on this virtual cache, you must add to your log a pair of images with following criteria:
(1) both images will show: you (GPS, etc.), any train, railway station name
(2) the first picture will be taken at Hulín railway station
(3) second photo at any of the other stations of then newly opened KFNB's section
Historical literature¹ tells us that there were following stations in operation than: Lundenburg, Neudorf, Göding, Bisenz, Hradisch, Napajedl, Hullein, Prerau, Brodek, Olmütz. There is no limit to the imagination of the task, but as usual, logs that do not meet the above criteria can be deleted at any time with no mercy.
