Het Renkums beekdal bevat 3 beken. Deze Virtual is gepositioneerd op de beek welke het meeste water afvoert. Het meeste, want de andere twee voeren zelden water af en deze, de Oliemolenbeek, valt in de zomer ook nog wel eens droog. Jammer voor de dieren die erin leven. En daarmee komen we ook bij de opdracht voor deze Virtual. Ondanks dat er geregeld kinderen in de waterval spelen en honden er water drinken, zitten er toch echt bloedzuigers in de beek. Weliswaar de “onechte paardenbloedzuiger”. (en: kijken, niet aanzitten!!)
Opdrachten:
1 Fotografeer een bloedzuiger (en duidelijk niet een slak). Als de beek bevroren is of de bloedzuigers hebben zich verstopt dan (maar niet voor FTF's e.d.) mag een creatief maar wel van nature voorkomend “iets” gefotografeerd worden, bijvoorbeeld een ringslang, een zwaluw (nesten boven je hoofd), een bijzondere bloem, een ree in het dal.
2 Fotografeer de waterval vanuit identieke positie en zoom als in deze listing.

The Renkums stream valley contains 3 streams. This Virtual is positioned on the one that drains the most water. Most of it, because the other two rarely drain water and this one, the oil mill stream, sometimes falls dry in the summer. Too bad for the animals that live in it. And that brings us to the assignment for this Virtual. Despite the fact that there are regularly children playing in the waterfall and dogs drink water here, there are real leeches in the stream. To be honest it’s the "horse leech". (a comment: please leave as is !!)
To be able to log this virtual:
1 Photograph a leech (or several), if the stream is frozen or the leeches have been hiding then a creative but naturally "something" may be photographed instead (not for logging FTF and similar). For example grass snake, swallow (nests above your head), special flower, a dear.
2 Photograph the waterfall from identical position and zoom as with this listing. Post both pictures and post some comments if you like.
