Deze multicache is een wandeling van ongeveer 7,5 km rondom het voormalig gehucht Slabroek. De route brengt je door een mooie omgeving van bossen, heide, vennetjes, stuifduinen, boerenland, historische plekken en het begrazingsgebied van natuurgebied de Maashorst. Hier kun je oog in oog komen te staan met grote grazers zoals wisenten, taurossen en exmoorpony's. Ongeveer halverwege de route is er een mogelijkheid om iets te drinken en/of iets kleins te eten.
Je kunt dicht bij het startpunt parkeren. De opdrachten maken gebruik van bestaande elementen in het landschap zoals informatieborden, tekens en wandelpaaltjes. Zorg dat je bekend bent met de weerstand kleurcodes. De route mag alleen gelopen worden tussen zonsopkomst en -ondergang. Respecteer de natuur, het vee en andere dieren. Honden zijn toegestaan, maar moeten aangelijnd zijn. De route loopt alleen over de paden en er is toestemming verleend voor het plaatsen van de cache. Laat a.u.b. de directe omgeving van de cache intact. Veel plezier en geniet van de mooie omgeving!
This multi cache is a walk of approximately 7.5 km around the former hamlet of Slabroek. The route takes you through a beautiful area of forest, heathland, fens, sand dunes, farmland, historic sites and the grazing area of nature reserve De Maashorst. Here you can face some large grazers such as wisents, tauros and exmoor ponies. About halfway the route there is a possibility to have a drink and/or grab a small bite.
You can park close to the starting point. The assignments at the various waypoints use existing elements in the landscape such as info boards, signs and trail heads. Make sure that you are familiar with the resistor colour codes. The route may only be walked between sunrise and sunset. Please respect the nature, cattle and other animals. Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a leash. You do not have to move away from the paths. Permission has been granted to place this cache. Please leave the direct area of the cache intact.
