Placed on a nice hike with the whole Flinstone and Forrestbug families this traditional adds to the pretty and lonesome backside of Tidbinbilla. No fees to hike in here and plenty of cool boulders/rock formations to visit (the Monster Mushroom and Two Towers for example).
The cache side has some large pillar like rocks on top of this little outcrop, looking like a long forgotten ruins of an ancient temple.
This used to be a dog friendly area (and according to ACTmapi still is an off-lead area (see picture)) but local sign seem to suggest that it is now starting to be part of Tidbinbilla and dogs not allowed. I leave that up to you. You will certainly have this whole area to yourself if you walk around here, and if you want you can go all the way up to Gibraltar Rocks from this side on good path.
