This garden is dedicated to increase the public's awareness of the importance of preserving our native habitats. It accomplishes this by representing them in a public garden. Garden features include Plant idenification signage, Children's natural playground, Ampitheatre, Snackable garden, Workshops and Self Guided tours. Hidden in this garden, with permission, is an official geocache container. It is metal but not magnetic. Please respect the plants. It is not necessary to step on plants to reach the cache. Take some time to enjoy this wonderful garden, and perhaps return another day with a picnic, or to attend a workshop.
This cache can only be searched for when the Garden is open: Wednesday - Saturday 9am-4pm. The Garden is closed on hot, rainy and windy days, as well as some holidays. If there is any question in your mind whether the garden is open, feel free to check their website before visiting: www.coastkeeper.org. The driveway entrance to the garden is rather small and not very prominent, but you are geocachers so I'm sure you will find it. CONGRATS TO ckm8dude FOR BEING FTF!
