I discovered this old, now defunct, fire trail, so I decided to see where it goes! Seeing it was going upward, I thought maybe there would be some nice views to be had... And there were some glimpses of nice views. So worthwhile in the end.
The cache is at the base of a burned out fencepost at a rocky outcrop.
I am still amazed at all the old fences around here - what did they ever contain? Who built them? Why?
