Geocache Description:

A multi-stage cache with a commonality between all the sites. The drive time between the two farthest points is approximate 25 minutes.

An obtuse reference: First 10 manual, second 3 only automatic, third 72 both manual and automatic. This stash is a multi-stage micro-cache (PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN), easily drivable in an afternoon, but to enhance the experience of the cache, try to visit the waypoints during suggested times. The final container is a one pint camouflaged tupperware-type container. It has some VERY SMALL trinkets for trading. If you want to trade bring teeny-tiny stuff.
The first stop in this multi-stage cache is located and the given coordinates and would be best visited from 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. any Sunday morning. This site is comprised of a main building on the south side with an addition to the north. The main building has a wooden sign on the original entrance with a year of 18XX, and the addition has a cornerstone just north of the main entrance with a year of 19XY. You will also need to calculate the difference between the two years, which results in a number "H". Plug those numbers into the next set of coordinates as follows: N 41° 4X.509 W88° 08.(5Y6+H)
The result will give you the coordinates to the second waypoint, which would be best visited any day around noon. THERE IS MUCH CONSTRUCTION AT THIS SITE, making it quite difficult to get to the location: a cornerstone with three years listed.
  • 18KL, 19MM, 19MN
  • and the difference between the first and last years is a two digit number: FG
Plug those numbers into the next set of coordinates as follows: N 41° 4K.G73 W88° 09.LKG
The resulting coordinates are for the ultimate destination, which is in a very public location. The cache is well hidden, but please be discreet when searching. The best time to visit this location is tricky. The area will be crowded during the summer on Tuesday nights from 6:30 - 9:00, but that is the best time to visit. I might suggest visiting the site another time, but making a special effort to return at 7:30 p.m. any Tuesday June through August. Good Hunting!
