This series of caches is designed to take you to some of the squares of our adopted home town Lagos. Some are big others small but all are likely to be busy and for this reason some of the caches have been placed in slightly offset locations. Please use extreme stealth when logging due to the number of Muggles about.
The caches are all micro or nano in size so please bring a pen to write with and tweezers may be useful for retrieving the log books.
Perhaps the most famous of all the squares and certainly with one of the most photographed statues in the city. Depicting the naivety of the young king Dom Sebastiao, assumed to have been killed in the battle of Alcácer Quibir, Morocco in 1578. It is a fine work of modern sculpture made by João Cutileiro in 1973.
The cache has been placed a short distance from the square to avoid most of the Muggles but it is still in a very busy place so please take care when retrieving and replacing. Please keep well camauflaged.
