Depozit is the favourite place of many locals as well as favourite view point of many tourists who come here to enjoy the view and take the best photographs of Dubrovnik.
The legend says, Depozit was often visited by well known writer Bernard Shaw during his visits to the city and surrounding areas after which his famous phrase came about:
''Those who are looking for a paradise on Earth should come and see Dubrovnik.''
This was the reason the street leading from the Chapel to Deposit was named after Bernanrd Shaw.
The sunset from this place is just amazing, you can see as far as Cavtat to the East and Elaphite islands to the West. You can sit on a bench, relax and have the city on the palm of your hand, enjoy the views and the serenity of the neighbourhood.
Keep in mind there are just under 500 steps if walking from the Old Town so make sure to take some water with you. You may be questioning is this walk a good idea, trust me - once you get up here, it will be worth it! :)
The cache is nano, You may need tweezers and bring your own pen. There always seem to be a few muggles around so I placed the cache in a location that will not make you look too suspicious. :)
