[2014 series / Scenic Driving Routes]
This 131 mile drive takes you from Norway to Wakefield through a place called Piers Gorge, which is a wide and beautiful spot in the Menominee River. The Menominee River, located in the western upper peninsula, forms the boundary between Wisconsin and Michigan.

You will pass through lush, thick needleleaf forest while crossing small creeks and streams, proceeding through iron mine territory, and the Sylvania Wilderness Recreational Area.

The drive begins in the southwest portion of the upper peninsula and proceeds northwest into the interior of it.

You will be passing near the Porcupine Mountains Wilerness Area, Escanaba, Menominee, and J.W. Wells State park.
