Ein klassisches Ostergebäck ist die Mona, die vor allem in und um Valencia verbreitet ist. In ihrem Brot- oder Kuchenteig ist in der Mitte ein hart gekochtes Ei mit Schale eingebacken. Zu den spanischen Osterbräuchen gehört es, dieses Ei an der Stirn eines Freundes aufzuschlagen und anschliessend zu verzehren.

A classic Easter cake is the Mona, which is mainly distributed in and around Valencia. In her bread or cake dough in the middle of a hard-boiled egg with shell baked. One of the Spanish Easter customs is to put this egg on the forehead of a friend and then to eat it.

Un clásico pastel de Pascua es la Mona, que se distribuye principalmente en Valencia y sus alrededores. En su pan o masa de pastel en medio de un huevo duro con cáscara al horno. Una de las costumbres españolas de la Pascua es poner este huevo en la frente de un amigo y luego comerlo.
