Meet at the public launch on Dam Road in Benzonia from 10am - 11am. We can use this time to stage vehicles downstream. I have a pickup and trailer that will hold 8 kayaks.
Even if you don't plan to head down the river, please show up to see us off. There will be a group of cachers kayaking this section of river on Friday, June 7th. This event will be an opportunity for people who cannot attend the Friday event. It can also be used as a makeup date in case of inclement weather on Friday.
This is a new section of the Betsie (with new caches) for us this year.
There is a waypoint for the takeout point.
I will post a note later with lodging and camping recommendations for those who will be traveling a distance.
