Cache 5 - The Light Fury
Wecome to the Sleeping Dragons Geo Route
This is 5th and final of a group of 5 caches aimed with a story behind it.
Keep your eye's peeled for the dragon that lies sleeping, please be aware that this area can get very boggy when we have had lots of rain.
Story has it that many a dragon used to live in the woods around Burley, this was up unti the witches took over the village and cast spells which put the dragons into a deep sleep.
For a long time, the only information that the Vikings had gathered on this rare dragon was the whistling sound of its speed cutting through the night sky, followed by a bright purple light, then finally a massive explosion.
Physically, they are of medium build with bright white scales covering their body. Light Furies also possess retractable teeth (hence Toothless’ name). Rather than firing like most dragons, Light Furies are able to shoot “plasma blasts” from their mouth. They are also extremely swift and use their speed and coloration to blend into the night sky.
"This cache is on forestry comission land and has been placed in accordance with the GAGB - forestry comission agreement. As part of this agreement, it is not permitted to seek the cache during the hours of darkness"
This is a route designed by young children, specifically for young children. We hope they find the treasure!
