GGA May Event at RBR! Event Cache

Come join the Georgia Geocachers Association for our May event and a geo-dart-poker run at Richard B Russell State Park! Don't have a clue what geo-dart-poker is? I'm sure you've played poker and quite possibly darts. Well this is a combination of both worlds. A little something different.  Just brush up on your throwing skills and you have it made.

We will be at Picnic Shelter located in the campground area at posted coordinates.
Schedule of events:
11:30-12:15 Nomnom! Come earlier and join in on some Satcahmo's BBQ lunch and fixin's and fuel up for the poker run. Plates will be $6 per plate. Plate sales go to the GGA fund. Coming early for BBQ is optional, but plate sales go to the GGA fund to help support future activities. PS: Don't forget to feed MOM!
12:30-1:00 Meet and Greet, GGA Challenge winners
1:00 PM Instructions, rules and Coordinates of 6 caches in poker run released!(some easy, some hard)
1:00-3:00 Poker Run! At each of the caches listed, there are small colored pieces of paper. Bring one back from each of the six caches and exchange them for your darts when ready to throw your best hand!
3:00-3:50: Players return to throw your hand and Announcements
4:00: Group Photo


***SPECIAL NOTE: There is a parking fee of $5 required if you do not have a park pass yet. Also the Asst. Park manager has graciously allowed a night cache placement for this park. Look for that to come out for the event. Join us for a fun filled day, camp, play, cache, hike.

***Don't forget we will also have the GGA 2019 Trackable Treasure Chest.The winner will receive the entire chest and the whole loot of trackables. So don't forget to bring your unactivated geocoin for a one ticket to enter the drawing. Contest will run from January through December. Drawing will be held at the December GGA meeting. With each trackable drop you may purchase up to five additional tickets. Purchase must be made at the time of the trackable drop. Cost of additional tickets has increased to $5 each or 5 for $20. ***
