This cache is not a park-and-grab, it has a special investigation to perform PLUS a puzzle to solve at the cache, and a diabolical mechanical device that you haven't seen since high school, and on my other caches this kind of devi
ce has baffled many cachers, and you may fail to open the cache for any number of reasons. And it's probably hot out, and there is NO CACHE HINT, and I'd bet there are spiders and mosquitoes ALL OVER THE PLACE, and who knows, probably MAN-EATING VAMPIRE DEER. AND there's a disrespectful Southeastern Atlantic Tree Octopus! LOOK AT THIS, it's rated 3 STARS in difficulty. That's CRAZY!
Did I mention the Southeastern Atlantic Tree Octopus? There is one watching you at the cache location, and he LIES! Don't trust that guy.
WHAT?! Are you still here?! Well, OK, then. Here's what you need to do:
1) Find the bird house. It's locked.
2) Next, find three particular insects within 30 feet of the bird house. The ones made of plastic. They each hold one of the three numbers of the lock combination. It's a BUG HUNT, man! A BUG HUNT!!
3) You need to be able to tell the difference between insects and an octopus. The Southeastern Atlantic Tree Octopus has a number, but you must ignore that number. It's not part of the combination. Use ONLY the numbers from the three insects.
4) Once you have all three numbers, you can open the combination lock, except that you don't know in which order to use the numbers! I asked the Southeastern Atlantic Tree Octopus, and he said there must be a MILLION different combinations of three numbers! See? It's insane!
