The first generation of wormhole caches were published in 2010, the series started with three caches. Fast forward to now, and a tradition continues to carry on. We hope you enjoy this April Fool’s Day prank!
Detroit’s Palmer Park is a 296-acre public park next to the Palmer Park Apartment Building Historic District and posh Palmer Woods. It is named for U.S. Senator Thomas Palmer and his wife, Lizzie Pitts Merrill Palmer, who initially created the park when they donated 140-acre for a city park in 1893 on the condition that the virgin forest be preserved. The park includes a historic log cabin, a large marble (defunct) fountain, public golf course, tennis courts, hiking and biking trails and a large pond (with a lighthouse) known as Lake Frances. The park is very community-minded with free Tai Chi and Yoga classes, community gardens, and community events (hosted by the People of Palmer Park non-profit organization).
Now it's time to visit the park. The cache container is not at the posted coordinates.:
