Let's have a Creation Celebration at the Maryland House on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Join us while we celebrate some of the area's best hiders and creators of caches. Instructions on how to create a cryptex gadget cache will be provided, and my step-by-step attempts at creating one will be on display.
Whether you live in Harford County, or are just passing through, join us for an event that will earn you a "Creation Celebration" souvenir, as well as 15 points on the Leaderboard.

Geocaching's Cache Carnival begins March 25, 2019 and runs through April 14, 2019. Six souvenirs are available in this time period:
- Cache Carnival: Köln - earn 10 points
- Cache Carnival: Nice - earn 25 points
- Cache Carnival: Venezia - earn 50 points
- Cache Carnival: New Orleans - earn 100 points
- Cache Carnival: Rio de Janeiro - earn 500 points
- Creation Celebration - attend a Creation Celebration event
Points are earned on the Leaderboard (formerly the Friend League) by logging caches and attending events:
- Log a Found It on a cache with:
- 0-4 favorite points - 3 points
- 5-9 favorite points - 5 points
- 10-24 favorite points - 10 points
- 25-49 favorite points - 25 points
- 50+ favorite points - 50 points
- Attend an event - 15 points
- Earn a favorite point on a cache you own - 25 points
