GeoTour Stop #16: Elkhorn Valley Museum

First beginning as the Elkhorn Valley Historical Society in 1958, today the Elkhorn Valley Museum stands as a testament to the hard work from this dedicated group of Norfolk citizens. The Museum is home to a vast array of exhibits, artifacts, and stories that share the history of Norfolk and its residents dating back to its founding in 1866. Unique pieces housed in the museum are the Johnny Carson exhibit, the last operable Square Turn Farm Tractor (originally invented in Norfolk and sold across the country), the Children’s Discovery Zone, Lueshen Bird Library, and Verges Park.
