Forest Park - Lawndale has many famous residents, especially those people from the early days of Houston. Among them are my paternal grandparents, aunt and great aunt. This is dedicated to my Great Aunt Alice (1864-1938), who used to say, "Wear a hat long enough and it will come back into style." I never met her, but family stories say she was epic.
