Geocache Description:

15 March 2019, 19:00 - 21:00

Približno 30 minut bomo namenili zbiranju, popisovanju prisotnih sledljivčkov in ostalim geolovskim opravilom (beri: čvek).

Zanjo poskrbi vsak sam in vsebuje: odsevni jopič, dobro čelno svetilko in dovolj globoko vedro (vsaj 30 cm).

Vsa dodatna obvestila bodo objavljena tukaj.

Obvestilo z dne 15.3.2019 ob 0:01: dogodek bo, žabice nas že čakajo.

🐸 Opozorilo: Pozor! Za uspešno udeležbo je obvezna oprema, dosledno upoštevanje cestnih pravil in poznavanje osnovnih navodil.
Otroci naj bodo obvezno v spremstvu staršev!

Sodelujte v CITO izzivu 2019!

Frog evening 2019: Maribor

By interfering with the natural habitat, humans have interrupted thousands of migration routes. Among the most vulnerable are precisely amphibians which, due to their small size, finish their lives under the car wheels. In Slovenia, all types of amphibians are protected and because the Signal frog is also a mascot of all geocachers, we have joined forces with volunteers and organized CITO events on several black spots around Slovenia at the same time.

The event is part of the CITO Frog Evening 2019, which will be organized in multiple locations at the same time . We decided to do this because mass participation at a particular location is not the most appropriate. Please take part in an event that's closest to you that it will not be too much people in one location.

We will gather on Friday, 15. March at 19:00 in Maribor, in the city park under the arcades of the first pond where you can also leave the car. About 30 minutes will be dedicated to collecting the TB's and other geo tasks. At 19:35 Daša from the Society of Natural Science students will tell us some things about frogs and explain how everything will take place. At 19:45 we will go upstream of the ponds towards Ribnisko selo, divide along the road and start transferring amphibians. The frogs will be searched by the road from the parking lot in the arcades, in the direction upwards towards Ribniško village, past the 1st pond, past the 2nd pond and further to the end of the park (or to the first houses).

To ensure successful participation you will need compulsory equipment! You must have: reflective jacket , good headlight and enough deep bucket (at least 30 cm). In the case of the rain, boots and raincoat are also welcome. Do not participate in the action without the appropriate equipment because you will not be in a position to help yourself and thus put yourself in danger. When crossing the road, be very careful and keep the children under the supervision of their parents all the time!

The event depends on weather conditions and will last for 2 hours (at least until 21:00) when animals by the drop of the temperature stop moving.

Keep reading here, because if necessary (in the case of a very nice and dry weather), the event will be rescheduled or at worst canceled. Everything is mostly dependent on the festive nature.
All additional notices will be posted here.

Last announcement 15.3.2019 at 0:01: the event will be by the plan, the frogs are waiting for us.

🐸 Attention! For successful participation, compulsory equipment, strict compliance with road rules and knowledge of basic instructions are required.
Children should be accompanied by parents! For full instructions, please visit the Help Frogs website: Volunteer guidelines. (sorry not in eng, make a translate)
