Cerkev se nahaja severozahodno v vasi in je glavna vaška cerkev poleg cerkvice sv. Vida.
V njej se odvijajo vsi pomembni katoliški prazniki, kakor tudi pogrebi.
Zraven stoji tudi mrliška vežica, za njo pa se nahaja pokopališče.
V osnovi še gotska cerkev je bila v 17. stol. radikalno predelana. Leta 2012 pa je bil obnovljen zvonik. Sestavljajo jo trostrano zaključen prezbiterij, pravokotna ladja z bočno kapelo ob severni steni ter zvonik.

The church of St. Chrysogonus is located on the north-west part of the village, and it is also the main village church along the small church of St. Vitus. In it, along with the regular Sunday Masses , there also take place all of the important Catholic holidays, as well as funerals. Beside it there is also a mortuary, behind it there is also a cemetery. On foundation a gothic church, it was radically remodeled in 17th century. In year 2012, the bell tower was also remodeled. It consists of a three-sided closing presbytery, a rectangular nave with a chapel on the side of the northern wall and a bell tower.
