What makes a good hiding place for a cache? We will set off on a journey to find the best place to hide a new container somewhere in the central George Town area. Hopefully, there will be a few containers created at the GC82R4Y Creation Celebration: Cayman's Crafty Containers event that we can select from and hide in a suitable location together.
We will discuss the GC location rules and share ideas based on caches we have already found in order to come up with some good ideas on cache placement, particularly in an urban environment.
We will meet at the given coordinates in Heroes Square, then we will walk out to either Dr Roy's Drive or Louise Llewellyn Way (waypoints given for the general vicinity of these two locations) which is approximately 5 mins walk, to decide upon what makes a good location. It will probably be sunny, so bring suitable footwear, water, sunscreen and a hat. If you are late arriving, head for WP1 or if you area really late, head for WP2!
