Placed this cache to commemorate Venture Crew 1020 out of Rowlett, TX 2018 Spring Break trip where we introduced jug lining for Blue Cats to 4 young men who have never done it before (my 2 sons had). We caught over 400lb of Blue Cats! The carnage/cleaning took place at the cleaning station not far from here. By the boat ramp, my youngest completed his Eagle Scout project by a land reclaimation where we cleared out the overgrowth that had consumed this part of the park and it was unusable. Before we were totally done, boaters were parking on the shorline and thanking us for making this useful shore again!!! To the East is a trail where you will also see more of my oldest son's Wood Duck boxes and an Observation Blind.
