Verschwundene Brücke
(You'll find an english version of the description below the german one.)
Disappeared Bridge
When I was small, there was a narrow old field bridge at this place. It crossed the Schierbek to the south so that you could reach the field on the other side. As a child this place always was extremely interesting to me. Not just because of the brook babbling around the corner, but also because of the small bridge. Sadly, there remain only a few big stones of it down in the brook today. But whenever I am passing by, I take a few moments to watch the water going by, thinking about the days past.
During my youth, I had to spend quite a few afternoons tractor driving on the field to the north of the lane :)
Now I have hidden the first geocache of my own here. Nothing fancy or difficult, just a small traditional cache. Should be easy to find for practiced cachers. Hopefully, the stroll through the beautiful countryside of the Probstei will outweigh the low difficulty ;) Be on the lookout for muggles since this is a popular way for taking a walk. Take care and be mindful of the plantlife while searching. Happy hunting!
