Geocache Description:

Desert falcons are magical birds that hide throughout the tombs of ancient Egypt. Follow the path to the end, keeping the wall on your left. Solve the puzzle of the sphinx to sign the log.

Desert Falcon was an original video game first designed for the Atari 7800 by General Computer's Mike Feinstein and John Mracek. The game was an arcade style shooter. In it, the Pharaoh's great treasures were lost throughout the desert, and the goal was to steal as many as possible. The game featured a scrolling, isometric point of view as the player controlled the falcon through the various desert landscapes. Many desert creatures including vultures, warriors, flying fish, sphinxes and others would attempt to stop the falcon. At the end of each level the player had to face a large, howling sphinx.
