24 February 2019, 13:30 - 15:30

After the success of last year's event in Kentisbeare Village Hall, Leonards193 and I have decided to do another one! Come along and explore the beautiful Devon countryside, hopefully in the sunshine, as it wakes up for Spring.

1:30pm till 3:30pm - Sunday 24th February - Kentisbeare Village Hall

(Groundspeak appear to have included a new feature above which tells you this at the top of the description. It's bugging me that it's not centred!)

I would appreciate it if you could mention the numbers in your party, so we can make enough cake!

So, what are we going to do for two hours in Kentisbeare Village Hall?

USUAL STUFF: Trackable swapping, geo-chatting, etc. All are welcome, young and old, newbies or experienced. Plenty of parking outside the hall, and wheelchair users can access the event.

CAKE: Yes, there will be cake like last time. I like cake. Tea, coffee and cold drinks will also be available.

CACHES: There's lots to keep you entertained around Kentisbeare, and if everything goes according to plan, I may publish a new cache or two on the day, just in case you're really organised and have found everything already wink

COINS: This time, we are promoting GeocoinFest, which for the first time is being held in the UK, in Manchester in September. It's an exciting Mega Event which Leonards193 is involved with. As part of our fundraising we will be running a couple of fundraising ventures, most importantly a raffle. Hopefully this will also cover the cost of hiring the hall.

More details about other prospective fundraising adventures (I have ideas, don't you worry!) to be revealed nearer the time. If it's anything like last time it promises to be a good afternoon.
