Geocache Description:

The Warsaw compound was a group of houses that were built as an agricultural farm in Jaffa at the beginning of Salame road. In 1871 a German Templer, George Kapos, built the place on the outskirts of the American -Germany colony. In 1907, Shaul Fenigstein, a Jew of the Gur Hasidim sect, bought the place and developed it into small industrial plants. He also rented rooms to private residences. One of them was Itzhak En-zvi. His room served as a center for other young members of Palei Zionists, including ten young founders of the Bar-Giora Organization.
During the British Mandate period, one story was used by the British Police. After the establishment of the state of Israel, the building was used by the Israel Police, and three additional floors were erected above it, which then served the national headquarters of Israel police. In 2000, the building was demolished in order to build the Tel-Aviv police headquarters, named for superintendent Krause.
