Amersham Litter Pick #1
Amersham Town Council have asked for volunteers to support them in two litter picking sessions over the weekend. The first is being held today in Amersham-On-The-Hill.

Please bring:
Warm and sensible clothing.
Any trackables that you wish to move on or be discovered by others.
Litter Picks and plastic bags will be provided at the starting point. You may wish to bring thick gloves.
Parking:
The closest car parks are listed in the waypoints. Parking charges may apply. Please check the noticeboards when you arrive. You may be lucky to find onstreet car parking.
Public Transport (Trains):
Amersham Underground and National Rail Station is a short walk away. Amersham Underground Station is on the Metropolitan Line, whilst National Rail links Amersham to London Marylebone, Harrow-On-The-Hill, Moor Park, Rickmansworth, Chorleywood, Chalfont & Latimer, Great Missenden, Wendover, Stoke Mandeville and Aylesbury.
Public Transport (Buses):
Arriva Buses and Carousel Buses operate the Number 1/1a bus, serving High Wycombe, Hazlemere, Holmer Green, Chesham Bois and Chesham. This service does not serve Stanley Hill at weekends. Alight at Oakfield Corner in Amersham-On-The-Hill. Amersham Train Station is one stop further away.
Carousel Buses operate the 103 bus between High Wycombe, Holtspur, Beaconsfield, Amersham, Little Chalfont, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Croxley Green and Watford on a Saturday.Carousel Buses operate the 105 bus between Hemel Hempstead, Bovingdon, Lye Green, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, Denham and Uxbridge on a Saturday.

There are free public toilets nearby.
