It's 218 Day!

In Northern Minnesota, 218 Day is always celebrated on February 18th because the only area code on this half of the state is of course...218!

As a BSU Beaver grad, sadly I haven't been back to Bemidji much and I miss it like crazy sometimes. I will be staying in town this weekend and wanted to host an event. I didn't geocache in college so I probably don't know any of you but I geocache now and want to meet you during my visit.

So put on your long johns and bring your favorite flannel. We will be meeting directly in front of the Paul Bunyan statue in Bemidji. This event will go from 9:00am - 9:30am where geocachers can celebrate this special day by discussing Minnesota, Geocaching, and everything great about BOTH together! We will try to take a group photo in front of the iconic Paul and Babe before departing and I hope you can make it! Cheers!
