Fünf Jahre lang hat Das Erdmännchen bei jedem Vollmond Monat für Monat an diesem Workshop gefeilt, um Dich als Vollmond-Agenten zertifizieren zu können. Fünf lange Jahre, mit insgesamt ca. 3.500 Attends und knapp 5.000 Besuchern, waren nötig, um hier heute Abend zu stehen. Bundesweit, ja sogar auf internationaler Ebene, wurde daran gearbeitet.
You have survived today's GIGA-exams, congratulations! But to receive your final agent-certificate, in form of this banner, you have to pass this last test! Das Erdmännchen (the Meerkat) has improved this workshop at every full-moon, month by month for the last five years, to get you certified as a full-moon-agent. Five long years, with app. 3.500 attends and nearly 5.000 visitors were needed, to get to this point tonight. It was worked on it all over Germany and even on international level to get there.
Also, Ihr Freunde der Dunkelheit und des Vollmondes – heute Nacht wollen wir es mal so richtig krachen, öh.. heulen lassen! Daher lädt Euch das Erdmännchen an einen weiteren historischen Ort Berlins, dem Areal um den Teufelsberg, ein, um dort mit ihm gemeinsam den Vollmond hervor zu locken und zu begrüßen.
Ok, friends of the darkness and of the full moon – tonight we want to party, öh.. howl! That’s why Das Erdmännchen invites you to another historical place of Berlin, the area around the Teufelsberg, to lure and greet the full moon together with Das Erdmännchen.
Ganz nebenbei bietet sich hier, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur alten Abhörstation und des Olympiastadions, ein traumhafter Blick über ganz Berlin bei Nacht. Der Aufstieg ist vielleicht etwas anstrengend (eine etwas längere Treppe), aber man wird dafür mehr als reichlich belohnt.
By the way, you will have a fantastic view over Berlin at night and that close to the former US listening station and the nearby Olympic Stadium. The climb may be a bit hard (a longer stairway, 230 steps), but it will be more than worth your effort.

Anfahrt: S-Bahnen S3 und S9, von S-Bhf. Ostbahnhof (Nähe GIGA-Gelände) -> S9 im 10 Minuten-Rhythmus (Fahrzeit ca. 30 Minuten + ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg), Ausstieg am S-Bhf. Heerstraße. PKW-Fahrer benutzen den Parkplatz vor Ort.
How to get there: S3 and S9, leaving from S-Bhf. Ostbahnhof (close to the GIGA area) -> S9 every 10 minutes (journey time approx. 30 minutes + approx 15 minutes walk), exit at S-Bhf. Heerstraße. Car drivers use the car park on site (free of charge).
