Geocache Description:

Around the world, people eat certain foods on New Year's Day to symbolize good fortune in the year ahead.
For some examples, Many people eat green foods because green symbolizes luck — think about four leaf clovers, money, and jade jewelry.
In many Asian countries, people eat long noodles on New Year's Day in order to lengthen their life. One catch: You can't break the noodle before it's fully in your mouth!
Many people serve foods that resemble coins to symbolize prosperity such as carrots, lentils, or black eyed peas.

Join us from 6-8pm and bring your own dish for a lucky 2019! It can be traditional or something you make up, like ants on a log (raisins and celery) to symbolize a "raise in salary"! Just no meat, please.
