This cache is placed to give a marvelous view across the Estuary of the River Exe. GZ is just off the bridleway which gets very muddy and wet when it has been raining.
The cache is a medium sized cliplock plastic box in a camo bag. There is a lovely view (when the weather permits) from the nearby gateway, across the Exe estuary. There are three possible routes to the cache. P1 and P2 are level walks along the green lane that now forms part of the East Devon Way. P3 is the closest and well worth a visit for the view, but to get to the cache you will need to follow a narrow path down a steep slope, through the thicket of gorse. There is regularly an ice cream van at the entrance to P3 to reward you for your efforts. Due to the tree cover at the location, you may need to search up to about 15 feet from where your GPSr thinks GZ is. Please re-hide carefully. Good Luck
