Mulching the Hazels and the orchard 10:00 – 12:00
Monday 18th February
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook.
Where: We will meet at the gate leading into the hazels and orchard (published co-ordinates).
What: We will be putting the woodchip provided into our buckets to mulch the hazels and the fruit trees in the orchard.
How: Felicity the Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and will have limited buckets (please bring your own), please also bring your own gloves if you prefer.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.They will introduce the session and do the health and safety bit prior to work commencing. Children will need supervision and pets kept under control.
