The Amazing Places GeoTour (GT8F) will send you on an inspiring adventure to the region's most beautiful natural places. Get your Amazing Places GeoTour Field Guide, downloadable for free from the Amazing Places website here or purchase one at the Parksville Chamber of Commerce or Tigh-Nah-Mara Resort Gift Shop during open hours.
Use the guide to complete the Cache Code Collection Page, including a unique coin rubbing at each of the 8 physical geocache sites to prove your find, and answer the geoclue by finding each of the 10 Amazing Places interpretive signs at each site. Redeem your completed Cache Code Collection Page for a customized Amazing Places GeoTour Geocoin (while supplies lasts).
Cameron lake is fed by the Little Qualicum River, which flows from its highest point at Labour Day Lake on Mount Arrowsmith. Part of the Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park, Cameron Lake and its connected watershed are extremely important for many different species of fish and other creatures like the otter.
Don't forget to visit the Amazing Places sign at the reference coordinates. They are a short drive along Cameron Lake. Enjoy the views!
