Coppicing on the flat at Robinswood Hill 11:00 - 14:00
Saturday 12th January
Parking: There is parking near the One Church (see parking co-ordinates). It is only a very short (quite flat walk) from this point to the event.
Where: We will meet near the base of Robinswood hill at the provided co-ordinates.
What: We will be bringing an old hazel copse back into rotation. Harvesting stakes and binders for this seasons hedging works, and logs too. We will also have a fire!
How: Felicity the Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance, gloves, saws and loppers. Please bring your own if you prefer.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under their instruction.The Park Ranger will introduce the session and do the health and safety bit prior to work commencing. Children will need supervision and pets kept under control.
