Come visit Capitol Land Trust's Randall Preserve and find a cache before you leave. The cache is located within reach from the trails, so please stay on the trails to protect our young plants. Be sure to walk down to the viewing area for great views where you might see salmon and bald eagles in the fall. Randall Preserve covers 7 acres at the southern end of Eld Inlet and is adjacent to the City of Olympia’s aquifer, Allison Springs. In 1997 Marjorie Randall donated a conservation easement on her property to Capitol Land Trust. She later donated ownership when she passed away in 2008. Since then Capitol Land Trust has restored the property from a degraded site with dilapitated buildings and a shoreline armored with hundreds of tires to a site where salmon swim by each fall and deer and other wildlife visit. To learn more visit our website about Randall Preserve and please check out our other public access properties.
